OFC Announces New Director

OFC Appoints New Director Brad Rhoda

The Outreach Fort Collins Board of Directors has named Brad Rhoda the new Director of Outreach Fort Collins (OFC).

Rhoda’s track record as a leader, his experience in homeless services, and passion for Fort Collins, will further the success and longevity of the growing organization. “We are excited about Brad at the helm of OFC,” says Edward Hopkins, Board Chair. “He will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and much needed experience during this exciting time in the organization’s development. We feel fortunate to have found someone who can connect with all our stakeholders, and has a big heart for our city.”

When Rhoda assumes the role October 11, he will represent the organization in the community and oversee day-to-day operations for Fort Collins’s only dedicated street outreach program. Since it began five years ago, OFC has engaged with over 1,650 unique individuals experiencing homelessness in our community, working to address immediate needs and build connection to supportive services. OFC has also responded to over 400 calls for community concern, deescalating disruptive behavior and compassionately mediating safety concerns. Collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders, OFC has supported 47 individuals in exiting homelessness into long term housing. Rhoda will also be the face of the organization to the wider community, and plot a sustainable course for OFC’s future.

Rhoda sees himself as someone who “unites teams behind a common cause and shared vision,” and creates relationships of trust in the community. As Director of Operations at Harvest Farm and Fort Collins Rescue Mission, he brings 18 years of experience in homeless services and addiction recovery. Rhoda holds an MA in English literature from Central Washington University.
