Northern Colorado Health Network
This month our team was invited on a tour of the Northern Colorado Health Network (400 Remmington Street). We met with their staff and discussed the many ways they serve our community and how we can best support each other. Over the years, the Colorado Health Network (formerly Colorado AIDS Project) has been able to expand services to meet the evolving needs of those impacted by HIV in Colorado as well as others in the community. For folks living with HIV, the Health Network provides on-site case management, access to a food pantry, and access to dental care. The NCHN also hosts the Syringe Access Program and provides contraception and harm reduction supplies to the general community. Throughout the pandemic, despite all the obstacles, the NCHN reported to us that they had a 99% return rate on syringes. Thank you to the NCHN for helping to keep our community safe.
